Our Carramar Cottage Stay

Situated on a quiet, country laneway Carramar Cottage is the perfect getaway spot while visiting the NSW South Coast. Facing beautiful Cambewarra Mountain, looking across cow pastures while birds warble and sing the coziness of the cottage both indoors and outdoors is charming and comfortable. You may even spot a bandicoot or wombat during your stay. Put your feet up, enjoy a cuppa, a glass of local wine or heat up the barbecue to cook up some local eats.

We are passionate about making your stay relaxing and restorative in a harmonious space. Freshly renovated and updated with a new king bed, furniture, and kitchen equipment the convenience of staying in the cottage after joining one of our cooking experiences couldn’t be more perfect. The cottage is suitable for couples, families of four, and solo travellers. We are so grateful to live on such a gorgeous piece of property and love that we can share it with you.

You may of course book one of our wonderful cooking classes while staying at the cottage. Cambewarra and Nowra have thriving communities with plenty to do. Stunning bushwalks around the Shoalhaven River, a stroll down the laneway to Cambewarra Winery for wine tasting, and the beautiful beaches of the South Coast are minutes away. Historic Berry is fifteen minutes north and just ten minutes down Illaroo Road is the beautiful art gallery Bundanon. A must see is Arthur Boyd’s family homestead filled with family history and works of art that transport you back in time.
